Barbara Todaro good morning, Barbara... I'm with you on that... it will be a long time before we go back to "school as usual." I see what my clients are going through when they have kids at home and often at three different levels of school. It's really tough.

Grant Schneider hi Grant... I'm seeing more new construction with home offices, but I can't say the same for carving out school space. I susptect buyers will just be looking for larger homes where they can turn a bedroom or rec room into a school room.

Home schooling has changed the housing needs for many families.

Thankfully, it is a great time to take advantage of the very low mortgage interest rated.

Nina,

Both of my nieces have been schooling their kids for a long time now, way before the pandemic happened.  Both families work in their great room and our Colorado clan's father works from home in his office.  This is idea is a good one to promote as you have.  A

Hi Nina Hollander - right before the pandemic, I helped a client who moved from Phoenix to Sedona to avoid the heat.  Their number 1requirement was a home that would work for homeschooling with a large yard for the kids to play in.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® hi Sheri... I also see more people who choose to home school... but there are an awful lot who want their children to attend local schools... and i have quite a number of teacher clients who can't wait to get back into a "real" versus virtual classroom.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel I know that very well... the daughter-in-law of very good friends of ours has home schooled 8 kids. That always sounded crazy to me... then again, having 8 kids also sounds crazy to me!

Nina many parents have chosen to home school their children this year.  That was a choice my son made for my granddaughter, and space is an issue.
