As we shop in several grocery stores, each for its own specialty that is not carried by others, we have noticed the abundance of pumpkin nomics! For instance decorative pumkins abound, as well as sugar pumpkins for pies!
There are hundreds of food products that include pumpkins in their recipe, like pumpkin spice chips, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin spiced goat cheese, pumpkin pandemonium peanut butter, and as pictured above pumpkin biscotti and batons.
Pumkin-nomics has made its way to the beauty industry as shared in a recent article in Style-Caster!
"Pumpkin contains vitamin A, C and E, and antioxidants, which you know helps fight sun damage and fine lines. Plus, zinc in pumpkin seeds has been shown to be beneficial for acne. They aren’t just for jack-o-lanterns."
Ron enjoys pumpkin pie. Quincy enjoys the pumpkin cat food with tuna, known as "Pumpkin Jack Flash (Tuna in Pumpkin Soup Recipe!" This is one of his favorites. A dear friend whose sister is a vet back East recommends adding pumpkin purée to dog and cat food to keep them slim.
And, I do like the gnarly fairy decorative pumpkins! No pumpkin pie, or any other food recipe, and I am not going to try pumpkin on my face, either!
Happy Wednesday!
