Points. Points have always been a topic of discussion, here in the rain. And the topic has reared its ugly head again.
There are a handful of discussions going on about "where are my missing points"?
Active Rain told us that our missing June posts would 'eventually' return... and they finally did, after months. But many have told us that their corresponding points didn't return with them. When we pointed out that issue to the powers-that-be, we were told that they should reconcile at month's end (a few days ago).
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. - heavy sigh -
Everyone, including Active Rain Member Support, is disappointed that the automatic month's-end reconciliation didn't cause those missing points to magically reappear. We're now told that AR will have to manually reapply those missing points. No idea when that will take place.
Personally, I would love to see AR simply hand-out a bunch of random novelty points, to make up for the missing ones. You know... a "here are 10,000 points... sorry for the inconvenience" to anyone, everyone who had missing posts from June.
But, they din't ask me, and I ain't in control of how AR does things. (and there are many who are grateful about that).
Meanwhile, I'll continue to do what I do... blog, comment, nap, maybe occassionally sell a house. (although not necessarily in that order).
