Wordless Wednesday: Rural Mailbox
We were in a rural area of upstate New York in Roxbury, in the Catskill Mountains, for our niece's wedding in May 2016 (we even had some snow while we were there). We had some free time and decided to visit a local maple sugar company, and drive around a bit to explore.
I spied this quirky mailbox, which seemed particularly well suited to an area where there are a number of farms.
Jeff one of my neighbors has a mailbox that looks like a John Deer tractor.

OMG..this is so unique. I grew up in Upstate NY where Brenda Mayette lives and works. We had some unusual and authentic mail boxes.. Thank you for sharing.

We have some of those interesting mailboxes around my area. I haven't taken the opportunity to take a photo of one though
That is so cute, Jeff. Snow in May... always makes me happy to be living in the Southeast.
I like those kinds of things and even though it is not my style, I like that it is unique and expresses someone else's style.
