Hello Home!

Joe- Thank you- I had to have my stager friends here on AR help me with ideas! They are a great source!

Leolinda- Actually, AZ was our 2nd choice of a state to call home 14 years ago...we may visit it yet!

Elaine- Yeah, and I wonder why the house sat on the market for many months and hundreds of showings before it sold?

Charlene- I was glad I didn't have to strip the wallpaper, LOL! Thanks!

The black accents really made a difference in this bathroom!  I especially like the mirror and the new faucet is much better than the brass.  Amazing how you were able to tame this beast!

Sometimes wallpaper removal isn't an option.  In that case, it is best to tastefully accessorize (just like your example).  Nice work!!!

The new faucet was genius.  It appears larger and more in proportion to the sink and wall.  Great job!

Hello Home!

Kristina, Virginia, Anita, Shobha and Tori Lynn,

I "borrowed" other AR stager's genius ideas and accents input- I needed help and with y'all's thoughts, we were able to distract from the paper.

Truly, though, in person, the paper wasn't as bad as others I have seen...it was rather dizzying without a mirror or artwork for your eyes to land on though...

Isn't AR great for loads of ideas?

Thank you all!

Aloha Leslie & Mark,

Grrrrreat look. Leopard print is a love/hate design choice but the accessories you chose diminish it's intensity.

Peace,

I'm a fan of leopard...but it has to be done right otherwise it can look like it belongs in a brothel!  =)

The frame on the mirror and the antique bronze fixtures work soooo well with it...it really made it look classy.  Love it!!!!  Great job and congrats!

I would put that in my bathroom - althought it probably is a bit wild for  most buyers, you tamed it.

Hello Home!

Kimo, Gina, Abby and Kathleen,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting- when we first toured the house for the consult, we were kinda worried about this room in particular. And we did like the paper, too, but were unsure about the prospective buyers. The first place I came was to AR to ask for help! And the result is from the advice of my fellow stagers- we take no credit- okay, a little, we hung the picture and mirror straight!

That is some WILD wallpaper!  The mirror really stood out against the print.  It actually is quite a funky bathroom  :-)  Nice job on the staging.

A few blogs ago, I asked for your help on staging a leopard bathroom- what great ideas you gave me...the home sold in 34 days...very good for the market of $400,000+ homes here in Greenville.
Here are the before/afters...
And thanks for all the help- y'all made us and the house look good!
~Leslie

(Notice the new faucet hardware? Mark did that! I love working with my handy husband! The tray on the back of the toilet holds 6 "egg" candles in assorted animal skin patterns. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!)
