Many of the "new" things you mention have become commonplace for many, including me. I had never ordered groceries delivered before. I had thought about it for convenience but decided that was silly. After the pandemic hit, I did have groceries delivered and it was wonderful. In spite of the upcharge, I think I saved money because they weren't buying things that weren't on my list. LOL
I do think, over time, we learn to balance caution with getting on with life. It's a journey and the book isn't finished yet.
