Hello Thomas - I like the graphic you used in your post - wow - the colors are great! As for being fortunate with having good neighbors, one sure way - be one...yourself.
We have been fortunate over the years having the best neighbors. When we moved to the country we though we would never have neighbors like our past home but that was wrong thinking, we have the best neighbors.
How fortunate for your neighbor to have found your dog!
We have shared shopping a number of times with our neighbors this year, and them with us. Our neighbors from our first house here in Carlsbad (where we moved in 2005) became some of our closest friends.

Hi Thomas! Good to see you back.
We lived in a community from 2000 - 2006 and only 2 other families in our cul-de-sac have moved. We still visit the old neighbors and they call us 'honorary neighbors' so, we get invitations to celebrate with them quite often.
Now, in our new community, we have about 1/10th of the neighbors as our last house (2014 - 2020) and have already met twice as many as we did at our last house! I'm thinking this is going to be a great place to live - and socialize with the neighbors!

we have some new neighbors who have a darling little girl and a French bulldog puppy - they invited me to walk with them for Halloween trick or treating - I had a blast walking through the neighborhood with all the young families - my puppy loved it too!
