During the pandemic lock down months I started seeing painted rocks in front of people house, under a tree or on our equestrian trail curb. Initially, I thought it was a game children play in scavenger hunt. I thought little of it.

Soon I saw more and more people bring a rock painted with a message to deliver. Still I had no clue what they were and I thought it was a local artist sharing her work. It is shown as below when they were growing a rock farm.

Kindness rocks is a viral trend, meaning they propagate like virus (not Rona virus but in a spiritual way from artists who paint rocks with inspirational messages or sayings. Then they leave them in public places for people to find. The intention is to spread kindness messages and love to people around the world. Remember the chain letters?

If you find a kindness rock, you can either hide it in another place or keep it. Lots of people choose to keep their first rock and then share one when a friend needs it.

As you can see people have taken a rock keep it or give to their loved ones. In return, there are more kindness rocks placed under a tree. This makes a must stop to be kind to others. This is needed to get through the difficult moment we experience.  Here is how to plan a kindness project. Enjoy.

Hello Sam - I have seen these in our area as well.  As Kathy Schowe mentioned, kindness need not be in short supply.

I have seen those from time to time and always think they look cool.  It's nice for someone to find them and have a smile put on their face, but also fun for the people that are making them fun.
