Are you thinking about selling your Eastport Long Island home now or in the near future? How will you go about choosing an agent?
One way is to start by looking at the areas market share. A market share is important because it shows how many homes brokers and their agents are listing and selling during a selected period of time in a specific town or village. Very little market share would at best indicate a lack of presence or consumer awareness of a broker, and at worst might reflect past unsatisfactory performance.
So then what would a large market share indicate? I would hope someone looking at Corcoran's market share in Eastport would see it for what I believe it is. Experience, hard work, local knowledge and presence, a great reputation, and a true passion for selling the Eastport lifestyle.
The chart below is a real estate "market share" for Eastport, NY for the last 365 days. The reports are derived from sales which are divided into "sides" one side for the listing and one side for the sale. Of 36 sides only three brokers had more than 1 side, but the standout here I am happy to say is Letticia and my sales at Corcoran with almost 25% of the sides completed.
Choosing agents that live and work in the same community is a value add for many reasons. We know our market inside and out and we love sharing our knowledge and passion about the Eastport lifestyle and what tremendous value our homes have for people who are looking to purchase on the east end of Long Island. As we like to say, Eastport is Eastern Long Island's best kept secret.
