I went to my HAR orientation tuesday which is the Houston Association of Realtors.
It was a wealth of information but I dont sit for 3 1/2 hours too well. yes we got a break but it was still trying even with a great instructor and more amazing material to digest.
The thing that is difficult is that HAR is around 45 min from me and with most classes at 3 hrs it takes most of my day getting there and back...still great info there though and a wealth of tools for Realtors to use.
I am sure there are more agents out there like me that still have a full time job on the side while doing real estate. Mine works nicely working only nights leaving days for real estate, I am still having difficulty giving my all during the day for this. It may be a case of need for a vacation, which I am taking in a couple of weeks.
So I am hoping that gives me renewed energy for this career I so want to get moving on.
