Make tomorrow a "Berry" good real estate day!

The Central Oregon Coast real estate market is a rush of activity, as buyers scramble to find housing before winter sets in. Homes are selling fast! It is easy to get discouraged, but we agents, and our clients must hang in there!

After showing several homes non-stop throughout the county, I told the buyer I would be available tonight to write an offer as soon as possible on any of the choices, as one day can make the difference. (The photo below was from the living room of a home in the Bayshore subdivision, on high ground with a great horizon ocean view.)

After the last showing of the day, I was getting a little bleary & decided to stop for a refreshing break, in the beautiful beach town of Waldport, Oregon, while it was still daylight.

Waldport Oregon

The air was slightly brisk, smelled like a mix of cedar, pine and salty ocean, the sky was a clear blue with wispy clouds, simply gorgeous!

Warmed my cold hands with a cup of fresh coffee from Ray's Market for an afternoon walk to the marina, and had a lively stroll all around the Old Town Waldport neighborhood, just for fun.perfect lane

When I saw the Huckleberry street sign defaced with a "c" to read "cHUCKLEBERRY St.," I let forth a very hearty chuckle, indeed.

Directions to your destination tomorrow:

"Left on Chuckleberry, immediate Right on Perfect Lane, to your next transaction!"

Hello Barbara - nice to "see" you on these pages today.  I like the signs you shared with us today.  It seems from your report that indications of the Central Oregon coast real estate market remains positive.  And fun.

It is nice to "see" you too Michael! I am glad you liked the street signs, I think of posting a blog to my AR friends every time I see one. This time I made sure I snapped the photo!

We are in the midst of a selling frenzy at the coast, has not let up since springtime. Our Lincoln County Board of Realtors is exceptionally fun, relaxed, supportive, good bunch of agents who help each other, I am very lucky be here. FYI, one of the large fires was at the north end of our county in Otis, the outpouring of love and assistance from the community was wonderful, our Lincoln County Board was an asset to those who needed blankets, food and other items.

Thanks very much for your visit!

Endre,

Yes, it HAS been ages! I admit I have been quietly reading everyones posts whilst setting up showing tours and inspections and surveyors and lions and tigers and bears etc., escrows at opposite ends of the county...not enough hours in the day, but it's OK, not complaining, hence the post last night to celebrate a few free minutes to enjoy AR. Thanks for visiting!

And yes, I want to see those cringe worthy street signs! :)

Patricia,

It is so nice this time of year, even when it rains, there is wildlife to see, the water color skies and changing leaves are breathtaking. And yes, the buyers are buying, I hardly have time to blog these days! Thanks for your visit!
