Condos sales in Honolulu County, which is the entire Island of Oahu, have remained strong. As the prices of Single Family Homes increased, condominiums became the only choice for some home buyers that were simply priced out of the Single Family Home market. Additionally, Baby Boomers/Empty Nesters are downsizing from larger homes into our Condo market. The attractions of condominiums are the low upkeep and proximity to activities like theatre, movies, restaurants and friends in the same areas. It is still a great time to buy a condo in Honolulu. The condo inventory is very high and interest rates are still very low.
