I was looking at my archive of real estate transactions this week, wondering what the value was of some of my early buyers' homes. I had to go in four years before someone STILL lived in their original home. I thought that was interesting. In fact, of all the transactions I did for home buyers from 2005 through 2010, only FIVE still own those home. Tucson...moves.
So, back to my project. I ran a quick scan using a Long Realty tool available on my web page that gives you three market projections of value - of course, estimate only. https://cara.longrealty.com/?p=homevaluesreport
As a reminder as to why you need a professional, the internet does NOT know what updates, additions, neighborhood environment, etc that has had an impact on home $$
Home number 1, purchased in August 2010, has an estimated value range in the $150,ooo's. Now...realize it was purchased for $41K! There's a markup!
Home number 2, purchased in September of 2010, has an approximate value of $215,000. It was purchased for $142,000.
I've attached a screen shot of the MID YEAR market report put out by Long Realty to help you see the visual evidence. Furthermore, currently, Median price of sold homes was $263,996 for the month of September 2020, up 15% from September 2019.
This chart can help you to approximate what YOUR home will do in today's market.
Perhaps it's time for you to make a move and capitalize on your home's value. Choose an experienced agent with the mortgage and title networking to help you navigate a simultaneous closing into your next new home. After all...Tucson moves!
