Great to see a piece of history left behind

Recently, there was an article in a local paper about an old farm in the middle of an area that has seen massive development around it.  the Trust for Public Land, Cobb County Government, the National Park Service and Friends of Hyde Farm just completed purchasing this farm not to build houses and offices on it; but to preserve it exactly as it is and ensure that it remains that way forever.  I am very glad this was done.  It is nice to know that there is one area of 95 acres that won't be developed and contains a log cabin that was built in the 1800's.

So glad to hear that.  I used to live in Roswell and spent lots of time in Marietta and loved the area.  Cobb always has wonderful parklands and other places for exercise, rest, relaxation, and enjoyment with the family.

Matthew, that's great. Not everything needs to be developed to the maximum potential.
