Ever Get this message: Error...Email EXCCEEDS ALLOCATED SIZE LIMIT?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Miami Real Estate Investor's Association MREIA
Hi Gang:

I sure send a lot of emails and do alot of Blogs (I hear all of you moaning saying "HE SURE DOES!") about featured properties, developments, land etc... I try to include as much information as possible: pictures, survey, appraisal report, comps, Power Point Slide Shows....but I was having a problem. The files were TOO BIG and they were getting kicked back from my ISP saying the file exceeded the allocated size limit for your email. I had to go back and reconfigure the email. This costs me time, money and aggravation.

I found a site that eliminates this problem all together. It allows you to upload your file, produce a link and then have your customer download the file by clicking on the link. THAT SIMPLE!

Bob - have you worked with this service long?  How do they handle "unsubscribes" - do they respond quickly and accurately?  Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for sharing.  This is a great TIP!  I'll check it out today.  Also interested in Penny's comments.

I believe the service just stores you files and then the customer can go to the site and download the information.  It is a great way to get large files transferred, even to yourself from work to home.

I'll try to answer your questions:

1) Ace Nortgage - Yes it stores the files and supplies you a link.  Send the link to your client and they can download the file(s).  If you join they allow you the option of never having the link expire.  So you can use it to send to multiple clients multiple times.

2) Steve Homer: I was having the same problem until one of my clients turned me onto this.

3) Diane Lombardino: I'll answer thru Penny.

4) Penny Hull: I have been using it for about six months and it is very inexpensive for what I need.  How do they handle "unsubscribes", I have not unsubscribed so I can't really comment on that but they have been super with their customer service.

Bob - thanks very much for the answers!  My question on unsubscribes has to do with the "unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive any information from me" option that we include at the bottom of any email we send.  But it sounds like this service doesn't necessarily send the emails, it just allows a great website storage location - which can help!

Penny:

Now I understand what you you mean.  Once you upload your files, YouSendit generates a link.  You can copy and paste the YouSendIt link into your normal email that would contain you unsubscribe link or what ever you have in the email and it should work beautifully.   I do it all the time like nesting it into my Constant Contact or Outlook emails.

I may go and check this site out. The most important one is the cost.

Robert:

Cost is very reasonable and you can click on the banner supplied in the Blog.  It will take you to the service and help you with a free trial.
