Well I was going from one appointment to another and I was sad to see many business boarded up. This one really caught my eye... Now is this necessary? Welcome to Los Angeles, welcome to the United States of 2020.

 

It made me ponder... it made me wonder.... who is the message written for? Is it necessary??

We are surrounded by hypocrisy and hatred. What I don't quite understand is that we were raised to treat everyone the same - but, now, races, religions, even genders are singled-out & highlighted at every turn. As a result, there is more divisiveness and hatred than I ever experienced during desegregation or any other time in my life.

What happened to true equality?

When I first looked at that photo, I thought someone was trying to promote a black owned business.  Then I woke to the idea those words were possibly put there to alert demonstrators to either spare that business of looting and destruction; or to target it for the same reason.  All depending on which side folks were demonstrating for.  Either way, it's a very sad commentary!
