Hello Wanda - I joined ActiveRain in 2010 and like many others quickly forgot about it.  It was months later before I participated and even then not consistently.  AR is definitely a community and its strength is quite different from other social media forums.  

Hi Wanda - love your post!  ActiveRain is like no other platform for all the reason you mentioned.  We've weathered through the challenging time and here we are all....well those of us who still see and know the value of particpating.  Congrats on all you do and give so freely to all of us.  You are awesome!

Hi Wanda- I too love your post and you have been a steady force here. I joined in 2008 and lurked for a long time before becoming more active. Heck, I went several months before I realized that points were involved.
