Lately I've been reading a lot of posts this past 3 months and I've noticed a lot of newer members which is great! Welcome to ActiveRain!
But, for many of you I have no idea of the state, or area you are located in or where you do business. Why does this matter? Glad you asked!
Take for example if I am looking to refer a client out to a fellow rainer how do I find one? First of all, I prefer to refer clients to someone that I know, like and trust and that I have a pretty good feel of how they run their business. If I've been reading your posts and think you're an awesome agent BUT don't know where you practice real estate, it's not likely you'll be 'top of mind' when a referral pops up.
It's also very important to let your local audience in on the secret of exactly what area(s) you work so you become the local expert.
Would you like to know how to make it CLEAR as to what area you work in? Of course you do!

Exactly Chris Ann Cleland . This is a multi-gen family with Mom and Dad moving with the daughter so we need a specific set up. Found one today but it had a big two story looking down into the pool/patio area which would be quite annoying so we passed on looking at it. They've got the rental and can take their time....thankfully.
How can I can I do this Anna? It's easy to fix!
Go to your Profile and Click Edit. Right on the top where your name is at, click on the edit tab to the right...... and insert your location after your name along with whatever else you want. BUT.... there are only a certain amount of spaces available so you might have to play with it a bit to get it look just right and fit in the spots. It's easy. Way easier then everything else about blogging!
Now you're Business Location will be noticed easily and often! And that could be a game changer for you! See you around in the rain!
