Don't miss the Lakefront Festival of Arts    -  This is one that I won't miss this year!!

Great food, live music and a chance to mingle with the fine artists - that's just the start of what you'll see at the lakefront event that starts Milwaukee's summer out right!  Each year this attracts about 50,000 people.

The event showcases   sculpture, jewelry, wood, photography, printmaking, paintings,  ceramics and fiber and more.

Over 170 exhibits to see!

Festival hours:
Friday, June 20, 12-8 p.m.
Saturday, June 21, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sunday, June 2, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The featured exhibits include "in-tents art" -- 172 unique galleries housed in tents -- Here guests can chat one-on-one with the artists. The college arts show presented by area college students check out the fiber art fashion show -- a moving exhibit -- with models walking the grounds wearing featured artists' jackets, vests, scarves and other unique fiber art fashions.

Hi Mel,

Good to hear from you.  I tried to post some photos but the Rain isn't helping today, I keep getting proxy errors!  Oh well.

I am going to visit this event with my artist nephew Xavier this weekend.  I can't wait.
