Corona Del Mar is a waterfront neighborhood occupying the southern portion of Newport Beach, California. The majority of the suburb's coastal areas face Newport Bay, which is lined by small ports and marinas. There are also a couple of exclusive beaches in the southernmost areas of the community. The neighborhood is primarily a residential district that incorporates several suburban developments and luxury subdivisions.

Community Amenities and Nearby Landmarks

Corona del Mar State Beach is the highlight of the neighborhood. The beach features an iconic collection of oceanfront stores and restaurants. Although smaller than the vast beaches west of the bay entrance, the eastern side of the coast definitely is a favorite for locals and tourists alike. Further inland, you'll find a collection of commercial areas along Pacific Coast Highway. If you live in one of the exclusive luxury subdivisions in the neighborhood, you can enjoy access to Little Corona Beach and Cameo Shores Beach. There are also publicly available viewing decks that provide scenic views of the natural structures.
