James 1:12
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”
Every trial, challenge or set back in life is a new opportunity for God’s glory to shine through. At the time you are going through the challenge it may not seem like it. However, remembering this will help give you the strength and perseverance to overcome the challenge and upgrade in the things of God.
We don’t want to invite challenges or tests to come to us in the future, but you still will likely face some because that’s part of life in this world. Now life with Christ is already set up with his victory in store for us. That means you can know that your love for God, your faith in Christ, your growth and trust in the promises will give you access to the victory over the next stumbling block that comes your way.
Thus you can again remind yourself not to spend time in worry, doubt or fear. Instead you can proclaim each day that you have received the crown of life that God has promised because you are already victorious over anything that comes your way through Christ who lives in you!
THANK YOU JESUS FOR GIVING ME THE VICTORY OVER MY CHALLENGES THAT ARE MINOR IN COMPARISON TO YOUR VICTORY OVER DEATH AND SIN. THANK YOU FOR FREEING ME TO LIVE LIFE IN ITS FULLNESS THROUGH YOU!
