Music for 11/27/20 Montana

Let's start our visit to Montana with the State Song, Montana I am starting to notice some similarity between these last few state songs. 

 

 

Our second song is Going Home to Montana, from the 1964 album Big Sky Country, by Montie Montana Jr and his Wranglers

 

 

Out last song is a Montana Anthem, love the videography, and am sure I can totally understand why Kat Palmiotti settled here as I watch this video.

Oh my, I love it! I even learned a few facts from the first song.

As a side note, the first video indicates Montana became a state in 1889, and it reminded me of something I found the other day. I was researching a particular piece of property and was looking at scanned documents online from the 1970s. I decided to go back and find the very first document in this system and see what it was. It was a hand-written deed from 1872 and it said on the bottom, Territory of Montana. So cool.
