Hebrews 6:12
“We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.”
Many of the recent daily messages have you feeling like you are close to your promise land. And by promise land we are again talking about those desires on your heart that God gave to you. We have learned and are coming to a fuller understanding that God’s promises are already stored up for you! Its worth noting that being lazy is not going to help you inherit the promises.
This verse again points to faith and patience being key to us inheriting what has been promised. Who do you want to imitate? Who are you currently imitating? In current times who is a role model, now that you are thinking again about someone to imitate, that you look up to on your faith journey?
Yes, we want to imitate Jesus. We want to continue to call out to the Holy Spirit to guide us. Is there someone that can help you on your journey to reassure you that your faith is strong and that your patience will be rewarded.
If nothing else, spend extra time giving thanks and praise to God! Know that you have come so far in your faith journey! You are already a model to many people who look up to you! Perhaps you are someone that others will imitate because of your faith and patience that led to your inheritance of the promise.
TODAY I AM EVEN MORE AWARE THAT PEOPLE WILL IMITATE ME AND I MIGHT BE THEIR BEST ROLE MODEL OF FAITH AND PATIENCE, SO I CHOOSE TO MAKE THE HIGHEST AND BEST EFFORT TO HELP THEM INHERIT THEIR PROMISE BY ME CONTINUING FORWARD TO MY PROMISED LAND!
