For the first time, the city of Gainesville, Florida is about to have a permanent food truck park. The Midpoint Park and Eatery in the city's Innovation District is eyeing a ribbon-cutting date of spring 2021, where it will unveil four food trucks, misting fans, a "green space" and more. Longer term plans also include building a stage for concerts once the COVID-19 pandemic dissipates.
