Oh Kat what a lovely and fun story about your bon bon tradition at the holidays. You did a fantastic job of some how managing teenage boys to want to come to your house to make bon bon's!!  Would love to see a picture of them!  They sound really yummy!

My mother-in-law used to share recipes with us and they never really tasted like the ones she would make. One day while we were looking through one of her cookbooks; we found a recipe that been altered. Grandma's little secret ingredient. Hmmm

Oh, those sound delightful, Kat but, as you mentioned, it's the tradition that really matters. My boys loved helping bake for the holidays...until they became teens! So, your boys having friends help sounds like this is one tradition they seriously took to heart. I love it!

And, I had to laugh at Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS's fruitcake Uber story - my mawmaw's fruit cakes were the same! As a kid, I didn't like them because of just that - they were just too strong!
