In this edition of The HouseKat Presents, I had the pleasure to speak with Conor Davison, president of Rooftop Systems Inc. Check out the video, and then see below for additional information.

 

 
I had the pleasure of meeting Conor when he and his team installed the roof on our new home a year ago. His team’s professionalism and attitude were top notch and I would definitely recommend them. And when we recently met again, I was even more impressed. Conor made it clear that his main concerns were for new and existing home owners. In fact, I think the only reason he agreed to do a video was to make sure home owners have information that will help them keep a sturdy roof over their heads!

The company is primarily focused on performing rooftop repair and maintenance but can also be found installing new roofs. Great information for homeowners and soon to be homeowners.  I can't imagine being a homeowner and being told my whole roof was put on wrong.  Remarkable!

Conor told me that on one roof, the metal pieces were all put on with the ridges lined up incorrectly so there was a big gap between both sheets. Guess what found it's way into those gaps, Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI !!!!  Good old H20.

Hi Kat Palmiotti! - Connor Davidson, President of Rooftop Systems, Inc., is just one more gem besides Glacier National Park near Kalispell! I always said, my next house will have a Steel Roof but to be honest, until this moment, I didn't know anything about the roof inspection or  required maintenance for a metal roof.

When you think about it, spending approximately $400.00 - $500.00 for that type of roof inspection, is a small fee compared to possibly spending approximately $18,000.00 to put on a new roof the right way! 

By the way, the aerial view of your home is so beautiful! I like the map too. Evergreen! That was the city I couldn't remember when I was looking for that church!

Actually, Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - I had no idea we should get an inspection every 5 or so years! I thought once we had that metal roof on, we were good to go. Oops!

Kat Palmiotti - I don't know where I got that idea from either, but the wrong news spreads like the wind! I expected, maybe some hail damage but what Connor said is something I never would have guessed! He's a keeper! 


Perhaps another interview with an Insurance Person to talk about claims for roofs???
