Another Utah Monolith

By
Real Estate Agent

I've been following the story of the mysterious monolith that appeared in Utah several days ago.  Folks have pondered whether it came from extra-terrestrial visitors, or was a mere marketing ploy for an upcoming Star Wars movie.  It has since disappeared!

However, the monolith pictured below is created by nature's hand, and still exists in Utah's Kodachrome State Park and is called a hoodoo.  What is a hoodoo, you ask?  The Native American Indian definition related to the Bryce Canyon formations is the stone formations are Hoodoos - and are dead men standing.

If you are ever in Utah, it's worth visiting.

Hello Myrl - I have been reading stories of monolith sightings in Utah as well as elsewhere. It makes one wonder, that's for sure.  And by "one" - I mean me!

Alexander- Slocum - Utah is an especially gifted state when it comes to its national and state parks.  So much beauty everywhere!

Lynnea Miller - If you have an opportunity to visit Utah, be sure to investigate all the parks that exist there.  I've been to Bryce, Zion and Capital Reef (National Parks).  And, I've been to several state parks.  There are still many I have missed.

Anna Banana Kruchten CRS CRB, Phoenix Broker - So much of the state is a treasure of natural beauty.

Michael Jacobs  - I agree!  The monoliths have given us much to ponder!
