How to End a Great Day

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart

Even if it seems to not be a great day, especially when it is not a great day. Something I do every night, when I lay my head on the pillow, count on my fingers of both hands ten positive events and accomplishments of that day. This puts my mind in the positive mindset of a successful day to prepare for going to sleep quickly.

How about some suggestions for finishing off the remainder of 2020? Why not write a short note just to say: Merry Christmas or Happy New Year to everyone who you know, or everyone who knows you? I am doing that right now. Yesterday I dropped 36 envelopes into the mailbox.

And during the third and beginning of the fourth weeks of this month, We will be writing to each of them over 200 wishing them a Happy New Year; therefore, they will be ready to mail all at one time, and they will receive them around December 29, 30, or 31st.

Think about this: How many handwritten notes have you received this year? How many have you mailed out? And if you are in sales! Wow! Is not this an excellent inexpensive event to be doing when you have spare time on hand? Less than the one you are each day! While you are at it, why not do it each month in 2021

After all someone must begin this positive sign to get people to love each other instead of beating each other over the head. As you can see waiting for the Democrats or the Republicans to help bring us all together, is not working, we the people need to set the example.

Dan, that is a great idea, and to end the day on a positive note.  HOPEFULLY this starts out the next day on a better foot too.

I don't do hand written notes but do put small notations within the cards I send, all 250 of them, which I will take to the post office later today

Hi Dan Dee,
It's always best to start AND finish the day on a positive note.  Sadly, the negative seems to take more time in our minds. When we focus on the positive we will realize there was more positive than negative.

Hi Dan Dee McGinnis The Pumpkin Man - I send out Thanksgiving cards to all my clients and friends.  I have been doing this for years.  After the new year starts, I will send out warm wishes to all with another card.  I stay away from Xmas because of all the Xmas cards, mail, shopping, catalogs, etc.

Hi Dan:

I send out cards (with notes)  for a variety of reasons during the year - Father's and Mother's Day, birthdays, house anniversaries, and now working on my holiday cards. I think people DO appreciate hand written cards and other things that show we care.
