It's certainly a far cry from what was there.

The same architect also designed the building close by that houses Jeune et Jolie, a very popular French Restaurant, and BLOC, a company that provides rental office space.

There has been all sorts of discussion about the change, with some  disappointment that the mall was being closed and remodeled and vendors in the building having to relocate.

The Art and Antique Mall was fun to visit with a wide range of different vendors. No doubt State Street Commons will be a very different and more upscale experience.

George Souto and Jeff, I would think that things are quite a bit more adaptable than we realize and once the pandemic is actually over everything will bloom and new businesses will arise maybe. Wishful thinking maybe but quite possible, I think.
