Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (NASDAQ: GT) has struck a strategic relationship with a pioneer in autonomous heavy equipment to incorporate its tire intelligence in the programming of autonomous vehicles such as earthmovers.
Goodyear will exchange site data with SafeAI in Milpitas, California, to protect tire health, eliminate downtime and contribute to a smarter, safer standard for the construction industry.
