Exodus 14:31
“And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.”
It’s interesting that until the Israelites had crossed over and looked back and saw the Egyptians lying dead on the sea shore that many of them had not put their trust in God and Moses as his servant. You must understand that there are many people close to you, wanting to believe, wanting a better life, hoping it works out, but they may not come to a fuller faith unless you serve, trust and move into your promise land.
Your encouragement to keep moving forward may only need to come from the spirit of the Lord working in you. Others may be hopeful, but they may be scared, uncertain, or not confident in the works of the Lord. You on the other hand have grown and continue to go stronger in your faith and trust.
Take the word of the Lord for encouragement! Take the truth of his promises! When you do that there will be a time that others will see the great power of the Lord displayed and because you took action and crossed over to the higher promises of God, others will now be drawn to do the same. Your purpose is part of God’s plan and his GOODNESS can only spring forth!
LORD I AM YOUR TRUSTING SERVANT AND WILLING AND ABLE TO HEAR YOUR VOICE AND HAVE A HEART FOR YOUR PEOPLE! HELP ME TO BRING MORE OF YOUR PEOPLE TO THEIR PROMISED LAND.
