It's Time To Say Goodbye & Flower Mound Market Report

By
Real Estate Agent with DFW FINE PROPERTIES 0506509

Now it's time to say goodbye to Fall in Flower Mound, TX. This is a photograph of my tree in the backyard. The branch you see covered in red leaves is a Red Maple Tree sandwiched in between two different trees with bare branches because their leaves fell from the trees several weeks ago. The Red Maple Tree is completely different than the Japanese Maple Tree. Winter starts on the 21st day of December.

Due to the pandemic, spring, summer, and fall passed quickly in 2020. Weather wise, temperatures are much warmer than other parts of the country. Winter is typically very short in Flower Mound, Texas. Rarely does it snow; except for a few times but typically, the snow doesn't last. What I love best about winter snow in Texas are watching the eyes of children who rarely see snow. It seems to be the best time for kids in Flower Mound to play outside. The earliest spring bulbs have opened in Flower Mound is late January or February. It depends on weather conditions, soil, sunlight, and type of plants.

Weather doesn't interfere with the ability to buy or sell properties in Flower Mound, Texas. The pandemic hasn't stopped people from needing to move. Currently, there are 90 Active Listings. One is listed under $200,000, an Active Listing with multiple offers. The average Medium priced home lists for $532,450.00. The Maximum priced home is $9,900,000.00.

There is one "Coming Soon," listed for $645,000.00.

Under contract =  18, Kick Out = 4, Option = 20, Pending = 99.

Sold within the last six months = 357

To meet my goals, I am currently accepting buyers and sellers who need to meet their goals. The weather for moving is perfect! Windows can still be opened to let in fresh, clear air, and packing/moving seems to go quicker without the summer heat.

I don’t know if I’m fully ready for winter weather when I stay here in New York. This is where being bicoastal comes in handy I suppose

A different type of market report one that speaks of honesty.  Our red maple holds onto it's leaves as long as it can and sometimes the new buds in the spring push ff the older dead remnants

Good morning, Patricia... the tree in front of my house took a long time this year to turn a vibrant orange-red... and sadly, a few rain storms whipped those leaves off very quickly so I hardly had a chance to enjoy the tree this year. At the end of the day, so many things this year were odd and out of the norm, I shouldn't be surprised that my tree was also.

First of all, I like your new photo.  And, it sounds like it's a perfect time to buy or sell in Flower Mound - with your expert guidance, of course. I too was a bit concerned by the title. Glad all is well in  your world.

Hello Patricia - to me "time" is an interesting element.  And not only this year.  There are some instances of it seemiing to "fly" and, perhaps, equally as many examples, when it "moves" at a snail's pace.

Patricia, Winter may officially be on December 21st, but realistically it is already here in CT.  The temperatures have significantly dropped, and we have already had some light snow.

As far as the Real Estate Market goes, it is not a respecter of seasons or pandemics!!!

wow, we have nothing that pricey in my market. 2 million is about it and those are few and far between.  Oddly enough our median price really isn't that far off from yours.

I'm ready for spring and year that will put 2020 in the rear view mirror.

Hi Patricia, that is a lovely tree in its Fall attire. Our trees have finally shed all of their leaves, and the colder weather has set in for a while!

What a gorgeous red maple, Patricia! It looks like your market is still going strong. I can't imagine a home buyer or seller phoning any other agent in your market - you ARE the one who makes homebuying and selling dreams COME TRUE!
