What a wonderful story, Alexandra. As a dog mom (numerous times), I can totally attest to the fact that dogs are all about exuding love. Our Bingo is attached to the hip to me or my husband all day long. No one is a stranger to Bingo... anyone who comes through our front door is greeting with a toy and licks and a wagging tail.

Nina Hollander I look forward to meeting Bingo one of these days, and we have planned to get a dog in due time. Happy Monday and we wish you a great week ahead. Hope you knee is healing rapidly. A

Nina Hollander I am so happy for you, that you do not need a walker or cane. The time will go fast. Happy Monday!
Ron and Alexandra Seigel me too, Alexandra. That walker was simply not a good look for me!
Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... we had a three year break between when we adopted Bingo and our last pup died. Made us wonder why we took so long to get another dog. My knee is coming along... have to work hard at not over-doing it. But it will be a good 6-8 weeks before it's back to some semblance of normality. At least I can get around without a cane or walker now.
Hi Ron and Alexandra- I absolutely love your post. Our 4 legged babies bring us so much joy and somehow they know exactly when we need comforting. When I got the phone call many years ago, that my father has passed away, I started to cry. My dog Lady was the first one there...right by my side.

Really sweet story, Alexandra. Quoting Doris Day is apt, as a long-standing animal rights activist and doggie lover. I think I see a smile coming through the mask!

Brian L. Sirota, Esq. Doris Day was definitely an activist. for dogs and furry creatures. We are fans of her old movies, in particular the Hitchcock classic of "The Man Who Knew Too Much!" Happy Monday, and we keep smiling through our masks, you can tell by the eyes that a smile is there. A
