It Made Me Cry

The computer I've been working on for two weeks didn't make me cry but when I tested out the sound card with a certain YouTube video it made me cry.

I thought I'd look for Rock-N-Roll Christmas songs and pull up something familiar like last years surprise (to me) by Ci Cranstoun.

I decided to skip by "the usual" when I saw Metal Christmas 2020. I clicked on it and most of it I could do without even though I am a Heavy Metal Fan all the back to the Country Joe & the Fish days of the 60's.

I don't keep up with Rock and rarely look for anything new so I know nothing about the band Seven Spires or their singer Adrienne Cowan but HOLY COW this little girl can sing beautifully while shouting. I've never seen anything so amazing, it literally made me cry.

Full Disclosure: When I see people do extraordinary things I recognize it as a gift from God. The artist, the athlete, the physician may be full of themselves and believe it's all them but they could have just as easily been born brain dead. God gives the gift.

Back on track: I believe you can appreciate this even if you don't like heavy metal. Not only is the singer gifted but the guitarist is one of the fastest I've ever seen.

A listening tip: The sing starts out a bit slow but becomes absolutely mesmerizing about two minutes in. I hope you enjoy it.

She sure sings it with a lot of zeal doesn't she Nina Hollander ? I found this to be a great blend of traditional and heavy metal... who'd a thunk?
