Wordfull Wednesday: Colonema Pulcrum Magenta

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

We have been searching for a new plant to replace one that is on its way out.  Last week we spotted this beauty (pictured above) with the botannical name of Colonema Pulcrum Magenta. We were awed by the velvety texture of the leaves outlined with vivid pinks and red.

The care of this plant is easy, and would be a perfect fit for our collection of rex begonias.  One of our stops today will be at Island View to pick one of these up!

Happy Wednesday, we wish you all a great day!

Hello Alexandra and Ron - although I am not familiar with its official name, this plant looks like ones I have seen while traveling the aisles of the local nursery as well as when out and about.

Beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing your photograph.

Take care, be safe and have a great day.

It just began snowing in our area and we have an incoming winter storm.

Great looking plant, I love the texture and the different colors, wonder whether they would manage in Zone 5.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 I am not sure what the parameters of Zone 5 are.  According to the label the parameters are 20 -25 F which covers snow weather, and just below.  A

That might work here then. Now I just need a garden, hopefully in 2021.
