What is normal now is what would have been un-normal before. Glad you will have company for Christmas.

Hi Myrl- I too am glad that you were able to spend time with Baron. Is he your grandson who attended Rice? There's something comforting about doing our "normal" things. In fact, after a hectic day or week, I look forward to it.

Kathy Streib - No, not this grandson. It was my grandson, John Luis, who graduated from Rice.
I am living a new normal every day. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your grandson 🎅
Happy Thursday evening Myrl Jeffcoat

Hello and what a great time of year to spend time with Baron. It has been 10 months since we seen our grand kids.
Good morning Myrl Jeffcoat - we can certain find normal in these times if we look.
You're so right, Myrl - it doesn't get any better than this! Time with family just can't be beaten - there's truly nothing more precious.
I also love seeing the Lego box and knowing that 3.5 hours after digging into the box, he had built a masterpiece.
Love it! When I first started to read your copy I was wondering how old Baron was, especially with the opera. Then, bang! there is a photo. Thanks so much for sharing your family!
Myrl, I live my life everyday normally so I have not been affected by the noise around me... with that said glad you are having a "normal day" too many people after eight months of hypocrisy have learned to have normal days again seeing the politicians do differently from what they want the masses to do... Endre
Myrl Jeffcoat you sound like a lovely time spent with grand kids. We meet our Children (2) and grandchildren (3) on Facebook 2-3 times a day. Then, periodically, we do face to face on Facebook with other relatives and friends. besides that, we still have to handle sales and rental management on ever going tasks. We are about 30 to 40 minutes away from our two children.
I had to smile at the title of your blog post...reminded me of the scene in Mel Brooks' SECOND best work, Young Frankenstein, when Dr Frankenstein asks EYEgor where he got the brain...."It is from Abby Normal" as the camera pans to a jar marked "abnormal"
Myrl, I'm so happy for you to see your grandson for the holidays! I'm betting itw as a wonderful time that you both will treasure!
