A Normal Day in the Midst of Un-normal Times
This is an inspriting post written by Myrl Jeffcoat ! She so inspired me to write a post about my normal days. Thank you Myrl! I appreciate your post more than you can imagine. Enjoy spending time with your normal time with your Grandson!
I'm having a really normal day here in Sacramento. My grandkid, Baron, arrived a couple days ago. After leaving Reno the first of the month, he spent time with his dad doing a little ranch hand work while isolated in Arbuckle, California. That made it more safe for him to then come here, to spend the holidays with me.This morning, after coffee and breakfast burritos (No, I didn't make them. That's what McDonald's is for), we went on a little drive, and ultimately ended up at Walmart, where Baron acquired Legos to add to his collection, and Christmas cards. I bought Brownies from the day-old rack. Like I said, this is a really normal day, in the midst of un-normal times. We're back home now. Baron is making out his Christmas cards, while listening to Pavarotti and the Three Tenors in the background. It doesn't get much better than this!
