This Week...The Golden Rule and a Normal Day
This week a post by Debe Maxwell reminded me of something we all learned as children...it was drummed into us almost from day one...The Golden Rule.

The golden rule for every business man is this: 'Put yourself in your customer's place.' Orison Swett Marden
I’ll be seeing Mini-me tonight and will ask her if she knows what it is.

When I am faced with an action to take, I have done my best to follow that rule. I can’t lie and say I’ve always followed it or that it has been easy but we have to live by some kind of guiding principles.
We have committed the Golden Rule to memory; let us now commit it to life. Edwin Markham
If you are a fan of N.C.I.S. and know Leroy Jethro Gibbs then you are aware of Gibbs rules. And you know what rule #9 is!!!!
America's present need is not heroics but healing; not nostrums but normalcy; not revolution but restoration. Warren G. Harding

Myrl Jeffcoat and Anna Banana Kruchten CRS CRB, Phoenix Broker pondered on normalcy and it loosely tied in with the Golden Rule for me.
Normalcy is within us. For me, it is like a comfortable blanket that we crawl under when we’re tired or cold.

It is our home we gravitate to at the end of a long journey.
There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort. Jane Austen

Have a wonderful weekend!
