A Special Holiday Message From Santa Claus
I was very fortunate to have a personal meeting with Santa Claus after his recent response to an ActiveRain blog that I had written. Santa asked me to convey a special message to all of the members of ActiveRain and their employees, friends and families. He sent special greetings to the residents of Kentlands, our home community. I did not realize that Santa followed my blogs. He said he especially enjoys my flower photographs.
Don't worry, Santa knows that you have been good this year and still his your name on his list. The special message that Santa asked me to convey is that an unusually large number of families have great needs this year. Many have been facing financial and personal distress for some time and do not have positive prospects at this time of the year.
The request from Santa Claus is that all of us reach out with all of our resources to help those in need in our communities. Yes, the children need toys and clothing but the families also need food, shelter and all of the personal support that may be provided.
Let's respond to Santa's request by paying it forward today and every day through the coming new year. Santa's resources will not be able to meet all of the needs. We can make a difference by assuming leadership roles in our communities and continuing our efforts to support the community organizations that need our help.
