Thinking Avocado and Chicken Breasts for Dinner tonight!

A friend of mine made this many years ago and I just found the recipes yesterday so I am going to give this a try tonight.
4 chicken breasts 1/4 ysp. pepper
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms cut in half 1 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp. butter 1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup flour 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
1 tsp. salt.
Place avocado slices in lemon juice. Melt butter in skillet and saute mushrooms. Remove mushrooms. Combine flour with salt and pepper and coat chicken. Place floured chicken in skillet and cook until golden brown on each side about 12 minutes. Top each fillet with avocado slices and a slice of Monterey Jack Cheese. Cover skillet and cook gently until cheese melts. Spoon mushrooms over top and serve.
Serves 4.
