It has been a tad busy early this week but knew figuring out what is for dinner on Christmas was a bit important. Someone mentioned lasagna, which I rarely make, as I always have LOTS of meals leftover, and need to go into the freezer.
But, while wandering the aisles at the grocery store, I figured it out!
I bought a King Crab Leg, and just love these, and rarely make them. I will make some squash, salad and bought some Hawaiian rolls. I am sure this will be quite filling!
Remembering some of the Christmas events while growing up - my mom would sit at the piano and play Christmas songs and we would all gather around and sing. There were always 20-25 people invited for Christmas dinner, as she used to invite everyone who had no one to spend the Holiday with. Often times we had no idea who they were, but it didn't matter as we all shared the Holiday spirit. My mom even bought all these extra people small gifts, so they had something to open, and not be left out. It was so much having so many people to celebrate with.
Then there was that character my Mom could be, and she put all the gifts in LOTS of boxes. Like, one box into a larger box, into a larger box.... as we all loved those really large boxes to open!
