Global Warming!!Full of hot air from an unexpected source

Who would have thunk it? It appears SUVs and industrialized nations are not solely to blame for the earths' climate change. According to some reports released about two years ago, cows (yes moo cows) are now guilty of changing the earth's climate and contributing to "global warning". Why farms must change to save the planet - Scotsman.com News.

But wait, what nation is one of the worlds' leading producers of cattle? You guest it, the big bad USA. Not only do we Americans pollute the atmosphere with our combustion engines and industrial factories, but our cattle needed to feed a growing population domestically and internationally is destroying our planet. It is a conspiracy of enormous magnitude. It turns out the sinister methane gases released by cattle contribute to the melting of the polar ice caps. No wonder it's so damn hot in states like Texas. I use to think it was just because we're closer to the Equator. Even Al Gore couldn't have seen this coming.

No worries though, the UN is on top of this like flies on....well, you know. Livestock a major threat to environment

I wonder what they will want us to get rid of next.  Maybe they should all jump into the lake.

My father always likes to say, the reason we are in this situation is overpopulation and stripping the worlds resources......well DUH DAD! (I love my Pop) The point is it really does not matter who is to blame, the fact still remains we are in a crisis of epic / biblical magnitude and the sooner we stop trying to point fingers, the sooner we can start fixing the problem.....buying local, walking, riding bikes, conserving electricity, etc., etc. there are literally thousands of ways to help and a little can add up to a lot! Below is a great sight for tons of ideas!

Rony,

WOW.....and I thought it was just the bad smell from the farmers fertilizing their crops.....and the price we had to pay for nourishment......we get it coming and going...

Bo-Thanks for your comment. I agree with your assessment in that we all do our part to better the environment. It's unfortunate how ever that certain political parties use a "the skies are falling" tactic to push their hidden agendas. I don't deny that there is climate change. There has been since the beginning of time. I also do what I can to improve the environment in the areas I can control and cut down on waste and over indulgence.

I guess if we all became vegans and stayed home we'd cut pollution!

Cute post!  I could have told you by the smell it was killing the environment!  Anything that curls your eyelashes can't be healthy to inhale!!

Thanks for sharing and excellent writing style!

Rony and Sara:  So if it applies to cows, would it also apply to people who eat lots and lots of beans... LOL ??

Sara:  Is that why your eyelashes always look so great ??
