Nothing gets the kids going like having a special visit from Santa.  For almost 20 years we had a real Santa at our Christmas Luncheon and the kids were wild about it.  He would hand out presents, and then get them all to sing Christmas songs, and then ride off into the sunset with all the kids looking through the windows

That is so awesome and I love that your gift to yourself is being able to make those around you so very happy!  The kids definitely look excited!!!

What a delightful surprise you created for your family. I'm sure you did get so much joy out of watching their faces and reactions. The kids look thrilled. 

The kids looked like the really enjoyed it... Our mayer said that santa clause was exempt from our province wide lock down, several times I thought of dressing up like santa clause just so I could go see family for christmas.

I love it Kathy Streib although I may have been tempted to post that clip on the Ring app asking my neighbors if they had seen this guy.

What a wonderful surprise you gave everyone! They will, "remember the year that Santa came to  Aunt Kathy's house..."  for a long, long time.

Kathy did Santa have a gift in his bag for you as well???

We all could use a break this year so I don’t I feel weird for any of it. 2020 has been a weird enough year as it is.

Kathy this reminded me of when I was about six years old and my father "ordered Santa" to come to our house.... well Santa worked as a Coal Delivery person full time and then he showed up at our house around 7pm:)) needless to say I was thrilled but than I saw his black hands and dirt under his nails I told my  father and mother this is not the REAL SANTA but an imposter so I would not shake hands with Santa:)) glad yours was better:))Endre

I think that was such a wonderful surprise, Kathy.  Especially, for those children.  They seem so ecstatic with Santa's visit.

This brings back fond memories of Santa coming to our house one Christmas Eve when I was a child. I still remember how excited I was to get Baby Secret. She was a baby doll that whispered when you pulled the string. LOVED that doll.

When my kids were small we had our friend across the street stop by in his very realistic Santa costume. He was a police captain and played Santa for all the police holiday events. It was wonderful to see the kids' faces.
