Vancouver WA's Luxury Waterfront Condo Sales performed very well in 2020, and they are a big Draw for Many that want to Live by the Columbia River!

Location and Views!: Located on the Columbia River's northern shore most all of the Luxury Condos on Vancouver WA's Waterfront have great views. The Columbia River is very enjoyable to view just by itself; throw in the Wildlife, Boaters, Barges and such and you find it an almost never-ending change in the scenery.

Some of these condos also have a great view of Mt. Hood, the striking, highest mountain in Oregon. Mt. Hood rises up so dramatically it is easy enough to see how the first European explorers estimated it to be up to 16,000 feet high.

The year 2020 turned out to be a very good year for this segment of the local Condo market. Here's the tally at the end of December:

Tidewater Cove Condominium:
9 Sold and 2 Pending; with 4 Active
Lowest Sales Price: $705,000; Highest Sales Price: $2,800,000; Median Sales Price: $1,220,000.

The Sahalie Condominium:
1 Sold for $1,325,000; and 1 Active at $3,198,000

The Meriwether Condominium:
1 Active at $1,700,000

Columbia Shores Condominium on the Waterfront:
None Listed in RMLS.

As the largest community, Tidewater Cove is expected to post larger numbers than the other locations however, this year's activity was well beyond what would typically be expected. To say it another way, the combination of the total condos from the other three locations will exceed the total number of condos at Tidewater yet, those three only had One (1) sale!

By the way - Financial / Dollars & Sense for buying in Vancouver WA
: Two Big points here: 1) No State Income Tax; 2) Lower Prices for Condos (and homes).

Washington is one of a few States that have no State income tax. Across the Columbia River (to the south) in Portland Oregon, you may be exposed to their 9%+ personal income tax if you reside live there. 

Lower Condo Sales Prices in Vancouver WA compared to Portland and Seattle, or most anywhere in California, have been the norm for decades.
