Today is the final day of 2020, a year like absolutely no other any of us have ever lived. As we put this past year behind us and the fears, struggles, loss, pain, and changes that we may have encountered, not knowing what the next day would bring, I want to celebrate the fact that we made it. You made it. You are reading this, you are resilient, and you are here. This may have been a blur of a bad year for you, but it may also have reaped many unexpectedly amazing blessings, too. Both can be honored and remembered, and should be.
I lost some dear friends, and mourned with others as they lost loved ones, too. My family struggled this year as we navigated home schooling, quarantined at home away from loved ones in order to stay healthy, and worried emotionally and financially like many people. Things didn't go as planned for my daughter on her 21st birthday. Last year's new year resolutions and anticipations were short-lived when things changed so drastically in March.
At the same time, we learned to adapt to the "new normal" as it was called. The time stuck inside allowed me to take up new interests, to reconnect with old friends and clients, to get back outside in nature, and to really appreciate all the small things I do on a daily basis that I take for granted.
I had the great fortune in August of being hired to do what I love so much, which is to coach, mentor, and support agents and to help them achieve success. I have met many really exceptional people and made many new friends this year. I am beyond blessed to be part of this incredible group of agents and to run the office. This is not the year I anticipated, but I am so thankful for what I have and what came out of it.
My new year wish for you all is health, happiness, success, and warm wishes.
Happy New Year to you all. May 2021 be a good year!
Chrissi
