Inspirational Quote 1.3.21

*** 1/10/2021 - EDIT BELOW ***
Inspiration arrives from so many sources and often from an unexpected source.
Quote for today:
“Help others and give something back. I guarantee you will discover that while public service improves the lives and the world around you, its greatest reward is the enrichment and new meaning it will bring your own life.”
The man is someone who has achieved many things in his public and personal life. Listing those successes will allow you figure out who he is quickly. He has been an actor, a professional weight lifter and Governor of California.
He is the father of five grown children who all receive his love and attention.
Yet the life lessons he shares may be his biggest success. His philosophy encompasses striving and acceptance. Step by step, during my life, I have experienced the quote above. It is ironic that one receives so much benefit personally when supposedly working for the benefit of others.
Please share in the comment you leave which of these quotations* speaks the most to you or about your life.
Probably best just to share more of his thoughts rather than restating them. Very inspirational person...
In no special order:
“Everything I have, my career, my success, my family, I owe to America.”
“We are a forward-looking people, and we must have a forward-looking government.”
“To restore the trust of the people, we must reform the way the government operates.”
“For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.”
“Just remember, you can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.”
“What we face may look insurmountable. But I learned something from all those years of training and competing. I learned something from all those sets and reps when I didn’t think I could lift another ounce of weight. What I learned is that we are always stronger than we know.”
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
“The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.”
Imagine the resolve and the determination. His statements are there to inspire each of us. They do inspire me.
All the best for 2021 as we move ahead into success.
