Waking up to Hoar Frost in Jefferson County WI

 

Every stick, leaf, branch, wire, and surface is covered with large crystals after the dense fog we had over the past 12 hours.  Be careful out there!  While it may be incredibly beautiful, their are many slick spots on the road.

 

 

I just snapped these photos with my phone.  I do wish I would have had my camera available!

 

   

 

These are not the greatest photos,

but I hope they brought a little of the magic around me to you.

I totally get it Nina Hollander!  We feel that way every November, but by February we are walking around in shorts in the cold.  😊

Laura, your photos are beautiful!!!!  I always try and take pictures on the rare occasion we have a hoar frost!  My favorite one is from a Christmas morning and the sun appeared to look like the Christmas Star.
