Wordless Wednesday: Bumper Stickers Galore

 

It's probably no surprise to anyone who knows anything about Southern California that we are a surfing culture, with lots of surfers, surfboards, and wetsuits along the coast, in and out of the water.

 

I spied this vintage vehicle and wetsuit in Cardiff by the sea 10 years ago and HAD to stop and snap a photo. This takes bumper stickers to a new level, don't you think?

Hi Jeff Dowler, CRS - it does take bumper stickers to a new level.  I don't think another sticker will fit.

You may be right Grant Schneider  I have watched for this van along the coast when in the Cardiff area but have never seen it again.

I suppose the owner would argue it's a bumper sticker collector's dream and one of a kind, Chris Ann Cleland !  I would think it would be hard to part with.

This looks familiar.. I feel like I've seen it parked in a parking lot in Maryland a couple of years ago. It definitely caught my eye and I contemplated taking a picture as well. If those wheels could talk!

Hi Jeff- I love it!!! When Larry left the Air Force he outfitted a VW Van with a bed and small sink and traveled around Colorado for a few months. This was before I knew him but he did have the van when we met.
