The Retreat at Rayfield saw the number of sales decrease by two in the 4th quarter 2020. The fourth quarter had one listing more in the 4th quarter 2020 compared with the same quarter one year ago. Both average and median home prices decreased compared with the first quarter 2019, as did listing prices. The decrease in home prices is not due to a dimunition of homevalues in The Retreat At Rayfield. Rather, it's more reflective of the price mix of homes that sold in the fourth quarter 2020. Average sale price in the 4th quarter 2020 was $461,544; median sale price was $440,000. Sold homes ranged in price from $410,000 to $615,000. Sellers received 98.5% of asking price in final sale price on average.
At fourth quarter-end 2020, no homes were listed for sale in The Retreat at Rayfield and no homes were in contract.

The Retreat at Rayfield was built by two of Charlotte metro area's premier builders -- Lennar Homes and Taylor Morrison.
Lennar featured craftsman style homes with a variety of 2-5 bedroom floor-plans, including ranch homes and 2-story homes, homes with the master retreat on the main floor, optional basements. Prices rangd from the low $300,000's to the high $400,000's for homes ranging in size from about 2,000 square feet to over 5,500 square feet plus 2-car garages.
Taylor Morrison offered six floor-plans, also including ranch-style and 2-story homes, typically situated on at least one-third of an acre. Homes range in size from 3,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet with 2 or 3 car garages. Prices of homes ranged from the mid-$400,000's to mid-$600.000's.
