Like you, I am retired and still relish any opportunity to learn something.  The Zoom meetings we've had have all be great and time well spent. You can't beat the price either. What does it cost? One hour of your time.  Great investment.

Even though I wasn't able to attend the zoom meeting, I know firsthand that John DL Arendsen knows what he is doing!

I agree very much, Kathy, it was well worth the hour. I learned a lot, and was inspired to read up on new legislation in my county. 

Tuesdays turned into one of the busiest days of the week for me in 2020 and I missed out on quite a few Zoom-calls. I'll try to attend more often this year however. I love to learn, and it's great to catch a glimpse of everyone!

I've been somewhat AWOL these past few years gearing up for this exciting new chapter in the next super charged RE era. But do know that I am still a very dedicated and loyal member of the AR community Kathy Streib 

I too continue to learn from so many wonderful RE professionals here. I'm always amazed that no matter what the question there is always someone, if not many, that have the right answer/s. 

As my Dad aways said right to the very end of his fabulous life. "The Day We Stop Learning Is The Day We Start dying". Truer words were never spoken.

Hi Kathy Streib - I sold a Home with an attached ADU a few years ago.  That is when I studied up on it and did some research on the building codes.  The key is to understand what is allowed in your area. 

Hi Kathy there are so many reasons to attend ActiveRain Zoom meetings as often as possible as you mentioned.  You just might learn something new - is a pretty good bet!!

Kathy you took the words out of my mouth with much of what you wrote, I did not realize that much went into erecting an ADU on a property.

This is great to know Kathy Streib! I'll have to begin to check these Zoom meetings out. The last one appeared to be much "adu" about something! Sorry, couldn't resist! LOL!
